Administrative / Biographical History

James Henry Tomlinson Blunt was born ca. 1832. He was a graduate of Exeter College, Oxford (B.A. 1854, M.A. 1857) and became an Anglican priest in 1856. After a number of appointments, he went to India, where he served in 3 parishes in the diocese of Bombay (Sholapur 1882-1884; Satara 1884-1885; Kirkee 1885-1887), before returning to England
