Scope and Content

Papers, 1715-[?mid 20 cent.], relating to the Wilson family of Bro[o]mhead, Hallamshire, near Sheffield, comprising nine letters, 1715-1717, addressed mainly to John Wilson (1672-1735), concerning various family news and a lawsuit; transcripts of the above letters, [?mid 20 cent.]; a copy, [19 cent.], of the Act of 1624 establishing the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire; and papers of the amateur cricketer E. Rockley Wilson (1879-1957), 1918-1944, including letters, cards and receipts for cricket memorabilia purchased.
