A small collection which comprises sermons, poetry by various authors, and prose and verse in the hand of John Davies, Pentrefoelas.

Administrative / Biographical History

Ignatius Williams, of Hendregadredd, Penmorfa, Caernarvonshire, was stipendiary magistrate for Rhondda, Glamorgan. He owned the Hendregadredd manuscript of early Welsh poetry.

Ignatius Williams, of Hendregadredd, Penmorfa, Caernarvonshire, was stipendiary magistrate for Rhondda, Glamorgan. He owned the Hendregadredd manuscript of early Welsh poetry.

The Hendregadredd manuscript, mentioned above, is now NLW MS 6680B.
