Administrative / Biographical History
Undeb Cymru Fydd (Wales to Be Union) was established in London and Liverpool, primarily as a cultural and literary organisation and had many branches in Wales. However, in the 1890's, a group led by David Lloyd George attempted to turn the society into an umbrella organisation for the nationalist movement which was demanding a separate political institution for Wales.
