Administrative / Biographical History

Griffith Williams (fl. 1868-1939) of Bryntirion, Minffordd, Penrhyndeudraeth, Merionethshire, worked for the Festiniog Railway Company for over 50 years. He was a Calvinistic Methodist elder at Capel Minffordd and wrote a great many newspaper articles relating to Penrhyndeudraeth and Minffordd. Capel Minffordd opened in 1879.
