Stafford Howard, Office of Woods, to Cecil Foljambe regarding the cost and availability of allotments and other property, 11 February 1897-3 March 1897; letters from William Stevenson to Cecil Foljambe regarding placenames and the history of Blyth Low Hill, Bassetlaw and Dunham on Trent, Nottinghamshire and an enclosed transcription from the Public Record Office's Calendar of Close Rolls, 21 September 1895-7 April 1902.

Several items in the collection are written on headed paper of the Office of Woods, Forests and Land Revenues, a department that administered Crown assets.
