The Queen grants to Thomas Ascham, John Ascham and Roger Ascham, sons of Thomas Ascham, the rectory of Whittlesford with the appurtenances, except the timber, for the term of the life of Thomas Ascham, then to John Ascham for life, then to Roger Ascham for life, at a certain rent during the lifetime of Dudley Ascham, son of the late Roger Ascham, and during the lifetime of the lessees; the lessees are to pay certain sums yearly to the Vicar, the Dean of Whittlesford church and the Archdeacon of Ely (18th century copy, for a contemporary copy see Doc 444).
