Scope and Content

Matilda daughter of Henry de Schaldeford, of Orewell [Orwell, Cambridgeshire], widow, confirms her gift to her son Adam of a selion of arable land in the field of Orwell, called Southdene, one head abutting on the highway to Wympol [Wimpole, Cambridgeshire]. Deed poll, witnessed by Walter de Bonebrok', William Faber of Orwell, John Stacy, Richard Bevyn, John le Broune, Richard Mariots of Barntone, and others. Tag, seal wanting. Endorsed in a modern hand: 'Cambridge No 7'.
