Many of the records in this collection were originally deposited at the Bodleian Library by the Successive vicars of St Giles in 1967, 1980 and 1983. or by Morrell Peel & Gamlen in 1969. The rest of the material was deposited at Oxfordshire History Centre by a churchwarden in February 2005 (accession 5361), apart from a file of correspondence and accounts (accession 2434) in August 1985 and a baptism register in January 2016 (accession 6428) and . A conspectus of old and new references is included at the end of the catalogue.
