Empress of Scotland on the voyage from Quebec to Southampton, 1925, letters of recommendation from Sir Harry Reichel and John Edward Lloyd of the University College of North Wales, 1927, Miss Roseveare's curriculum vitae, 1929 and undated postcards relating to travel in India.

Administrative / Biographical History
Gladys Marie Roseveare was private secretary to Sir Harry Reichel, Principal of the University College of North Wales, 1914-1927. She lived in Germany and also spent time in France and Spain and was fluent in German, French and Spanish. She accompanied Sir Harry to New Zealand for 6 months in 1925 when he acted as Chairman of the Royal Commission to enquire into university education there. Miss Roseveare also acted as assistant registrar of the UCNW during 1918-19 and was responsible for the keeping of college records, registers, correspondence with the Board of Education and providing secretarial support for the University Senate, Council and Committee meetings. In 1927 she became private secretary to H.W. Herring of Standard Electrica in Madrid.
