Scope and Content

The Individual Giving Advisory Group was established in 2003. The aim of the group, as detailed in the minutes of the first meeting, is to advise on developing and strengthening the Patrons group and their activities; to cultivate more Patrons and Individual donors; to generate ideas for effective retention of current Patrons; and to creatively devise ways to attract prospective Patrons and engage new donors with the Gallery. Meetings are held approximately twice a year.

Meetings are attended by the following Gallery staff: the Director of Communications and Development & Deputy Director; Individual Giving Manager; Major Donor Development Manager, and the Chief Curator & Deputy Director. External members of the committee include individuals who are also part of the Development Board.
