Scope and Content

Collections of John Burton relating to Yorkshire, with indexes, usually of persons and of places, in each volume. The collections include pedigrees of Yorkshire families, notes on Yorkshire manors, and papers relating to heraldry and to ceremonies conducted by heralds.
