Administrative / Biographical History

Ethel Sargant was born in 1863. She was educated at the North London Collegiate School (under Miss Buss). She studied Natural Sciences at Girton College 1881-1885. She later worked at Kew Gardens. Elected Fellow of Girton in 1913. Bequeathed her botanical library and bookcases to the Girton College Library.
