The minutes of the Marown Parish Commissioners are a record of decisions taken at monthly public and private meetings held by the five elected Commissioners of Marown. Decisions relate to the following areas of local governance:
- Public information and advice
- Tourism
- Refuse collection
- Street-lighting
- Environmental health
- Public conveniences
- Parks, playgrounds and other leisure facilities
- Control of dogs
- Housing
- Car-parking
- Street-cleaning
- Building control
- Planning
- Sewerage
- Abandoned vehicles
These minutes are written by the Clerk to the Marown Parish Commissioners, based on notes taken during the meetings. The minutes were then written into the volumes, or typed, printed and affixed into the volumes. Each set of minutes was approved by the Commissioners and signed by the Chairman of the Marown Parish Commissioners at the subsequent meeting.
