This oral history collection comprises 6 interviews with members of the BrightSparks Arts in Mental Health Group, conducted on 30th September 2015 and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. They focus on the heritage of the Cultural Quarter area of Leicester City Centre and significant changes to industries and leisure venues within the quarter.

Administrative / Biographical History
The collection forms part of the greater project titled ‘Exploring the Heritage of Leicester’s Cultural Quarter’ coordinated by Nikki Clayton of Expresseum Poetics. Interviews were conducted in a ‘memory seat’ format, where interviewees took turns sharing their memories of Leicester’s Cultural Quarter. A project exhibition launched on Wednesday 14th October at the West End Gallery in Leicester.
