Assignment of trust indenture, Stread, Antrim

Whereas an Indenture dated March 1749 between Edward Crymble of Stread, Antrim, and Lucy Crymble his wife on the one part and John Turner of Lurgan, Armagh, and Thomas Turner of the other, reciting that James Ogle, late of Lurgan, had bequeathed to Lucy Crymble a certain sum, and that Edward Crymble had appointed John Turner and Thomas Turner trustees of his portion of such sum received on his marriage with Lucy Ogle to pay the interest to Lucy Crymble during her life-time should she survive him, and upon her death to divide it between their issue should there be any; whereas John Turner and Thomas Turner have received the amount; and whereas Thomas Turner is dead and John Turner with the consent of all concerned desires to be released from the trust; John Turner releases Edward Crymble from the bond, and Edward Crymble agrees that John Turner pay the sum to Robert Bradshaw of Newtown Ards, Down and Adam Cuppage of Lurgan in trust to pay the interest to Edward Crymble and Lucy Crymble during their lives and afterwards to divide it as appointed. Five seals are attached. On the back is the copy of a statement setting forth the genealogy of John Greer descendant of Sir James Greer of Leiggs. The ascent is traced to Loghern brother of Fergus the first King of Scotland. The statement was dated from Trinity College, Dublin, 27 August 1720, and signed by Charles Lynegan, alias O Lunnin.
