Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Pembrokeshire Museums Service accumulated papers relating to Twyllwyd and Llandeloy. William Samuel Lloyd ([c. 1798]-1873), lived at Tyllwyd, Llandeloy, Pembrokeshire, and later Longhouse, near Trefin, Mathry, Pembrokeshire; William Morris Lewis (1839-1917), minister, Treffynnon Calvinistic Methodist Church, Llandeloy, married Letitia Maria Lloyd, daughter of William Samuel Lloyd in 1859. They lived at Twyllwyd. In 1867, Lloyd presented a site at Treffynnon, nearby, for a new chapel. The Service also collected some papers of William Morris (d. 1847), mariner, of Fishguard, Pembrokeshire, as well as printed books, directories and other materials.
