Scope and Content

This collection contains copy correspondence from Rosa Frank in Berlin to her granddaughter Marianne who had recently emigrated from Nazi Germany with her husband Hans Fischer. Rosa Frank writes about news from family and friends in Berlin, some of whom were also emigrating.

Administrative / Biographical History

Not much is known about the family other than that many of the relatives of Marianne Fischer were murdered in concentration camps during the Holocaust. She and her husband Hans Fischer seem to have emigrated to England via Italy.
