This collection comprises the personal papers of Miss Lorna Bowden relating to her service as a Church Missionary Society (CMS) missionary in the Weithaga District, Kenya. It includes her diaries covering the period 1922-1944 together with some separate diaries of trips including one to Mount Kenya in 1940; various letters to her family; and other miscellaneous papers including notes for talks she gave and a number of photographs including some of the building of Weithaga church in 1934-1935.
