Photograph of 'Talhairn' in later life. The photograph has 'W. Griffith (Tydam)' and 'Pub. London' printed on the front and is printed with a crest labelled 'Tydain's Photographic Album Gallery' on the reverse.

John Jones (1810 – 1869 was a Welsh poet and architect and known by the bardic name 'Talhairn'. He was born and died (having shot himself) at the Harp Inn in Llanfair Talhaearn, Denbighshire.
