Administrative / Biographical History

Colin Eric Duff, CBE (1904-1996) worked as Assistant Conservator of Forests, Northern Rhodesia from 1931, then as Senior Assistant from 1945, Conservator from 1947 and Chief Conservator from 1954. From 1960 to 1962 he held the post of Special Commissioner, Natural Resources. In 1941 he married Kathleen Emily Whaits, with whom he had two daughters.
