Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
CND was established in 1958 as the successor to the National Committee for the abolition of Nuclear Weapon Tests, founded a year earlier. Details of its earlier history can be found in Christopher Driver's book 'The Disarmers' (London, 1964).
