Book Design Collection

The collection comprises examples of book design of varying quality for study and comparison. The collection includes category award winners of the British Book Design and Production Awards.

The British Book Design and Production awards are an annual event organised by the British Printing Industries Federation in association with Oxford Brookes University and the Publishers Association. There are a number of categories of awards including Limited edition and fine binding, Digitally Printed Books, Exhibition catalogues, Photographic books, art and architecture mongraphs, Trade Illustrated, Literature, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Education, Scholarly and reference, Children's trade, Environmental award, Best Jacket/Cover design, Best Student Book of the Year, Best British Book, and Brand or Series Identity. The book of the year is chosen from the winners of the other categories.
