Copies of a 'Discourse of prayer' by John Wilkins (1614-1672), sometime Bishop of Chester, son-in-law to Oliver Cromwell and one of the founders of the Royal Society, and 'A sacrament' By Richard Vines (1600-1656), puritan divine. Compiled in the 17th century. Signed on the flyleaf 'Jno. Cumberlege Sen.'
