Seminars on problems in industrial administration

This collection consists of various papers on business organisation and management from a diverse selection of companies.

These papers were produced by joint seminars of the London School of Economics and the London Graduate School of Business Studies, on industrial organisation and management. These seminars were held by Professor Sir Ronald Edwards (1910-1976) on Tuesday evenings from 1946, and became known as the 'Ronald Edwards Seminars'. They were aimed at businessmen, civil servants and academics, and were based on papers prepared by industrialists and civil servants. The majority of the papers related to business administration.

The papers have been arranged chronologically in 18 bound volumes, containing a total of 452 papers:
Volume 1 contains papers 1-25 (1946-1947)
Volume 2 contains papers 26-50 (1947-1949)
Volume 3 contains papers 51-75 (1949-1950)
Volume 4 contains papers 76-100 (1950-1951)
Volume 5 contains papers 101-125 (1951-1952)
Volume 6 contains papers 126-150 (1952-1954)
Volume 7 contains papers 151-175 (1954-1955)
Volume 8 contains papers 176-190 (1955-1956)
Volume 9 contains papers 191-215 (1956-1957)
Volume 10 contains papers 216-240 (1957-1959)
Volume 11 contains papers 241-265 (1959-1960)
Volume 12 contains papers 266-290 (1960-1962)
Volume 13 contains papers 291-315 (1962-1963)
Volume 14 contains papers 316-340 (1963-1964)
Volume 15 contains papers 341-365 (1964-1966)
Volume 16 contains papers 366-390 (1966-1967)
Volume 17 contains papers 391-415 (1968-1969)
Volume 18 contains papers 416-452 (1969-1970).

Printed handlist available. There is an index which gives the papers in alphabetical order of company and in order of paper number with titles.
