McCririck of the Ministry of Labour to Mr Frank Price Jones, editor of the Transactions of the Denbighshire Historical Society, describing the material and the guarantee of anonymity under which survey participants took part.
Questionnaires returned from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, contain details regarding employment, numbers and ages of children, expenditure on rent and food, and type of food consumed. Names and addresses were not given, just the general location, a town or county and country.
