Comprises Kate Birse's recollections of her childhood in St Petersburg/Petrograd, repatriation to Great Britain in 1920, and life in Estonia and Finland in the 1930s-1940s, together with photographs of Birse, Anderson and North family members, and a photograph of the former Birse family home in St Petersburg
