Scope and Content

Indenture. Edwarde Bell of Ingatestone, Essex, sells to Richard Sampforthe of Writtell certain land which he bought of Johanne Bedyll, to him and his heirs for ever to the use of him and his heirs for ever, a certain yearly rent due to Johanne Bedyll for life excepted. Witnesses: John Lyndesell, Robert Derane, Thomas Dale, John Welde of Arnyswicke and Robert Clarke. One seal is attached.
