Administrative / Biographical History
Sir Graham Vincent, 1891-1981, was a senior civil servant. From 1928 to 1936 he was Private Secretary/Principal Private Secretary to successive Prime Ministers, and Assistant Secretary to the Committee on Imperial Defence from 1936 to 1939. His final appointment before retirement in 1956 was Secretary for Government Hospitality.
