Scope and Content

In consideration of #700, William Woollard Creeke of Cambridge, gent, assigns to Thomas Creeke of Cambridge, tailor and robe-maker, his leasehold properties in yards off Sidney Street, Cambridge, originally leased by the trustees of Mrs Forrester's Charity to John Forlow in 1802 for 40 years (Doc 1897). Enclosing a prior agreement between the parties to conclude this assignment. Signed and sealed by both parties, witnessed by W G Ashton of Cambridge, solicitor, duty stamps. Endorsed with receipt for consideration money, signed by William Woollard Creeke, same witness. Parchment supplied by Morris of Bermondsey, engraving by Silvester of The Strand. Enclosed agreement, with WWC's receipt for deposit of #10, dated 28 Feb 1831, same signatures and witness.
