Scope and Content

The Dean and Chapter of Ely, on the surrender of a lease granted to Andrew Cockle of Cambridge and dated 25 November 1782 [Doc 365], let to Samuel Salmon of Cambridge certain land in Cambridge for the term of forty years; the lessee is to repair the pavement opposite the premises; the lessee may not alienate without the licence of the lessors. Witnesses: George Thring, Tingey Taylor. One seal is attached.
