Scope and Content

The Girls' Diocesan Association was founded in 1901 and re-named Spearhead in 1961. It was disbanded in 1964. It was an association of women of leisure for prayer, study, and service. See M. Cropper, The Girls Diocesan Association 1901-1961 and Spearhead 1961-1964, [1974].
