This is a collection of "Books forming the Gift of the Inhabitant of Richmond Surrey 1844", and include theological works by John Flavel, John Guyse, Samuel Horsley, and Thomas Goodwin.

Canon Edward Hoare was the vicar of Holy Trinity in Tunbridge Wells for forty years, spending some time in Richmond under the Rev. S.W. Gandy (Vicar of Kingston and Richmond).
