Set up in 1977  as a private independent company, Clydedock Engineering Ltd had its dry docks, wet basin, yard and all offices situated in Govan, Glasgow . The main function of the company was to develop ship repair facilities. In 2002, the company was still registered but as a non-trading company in Glasgow.
