Deeds and related papers collected by Sprott, Stokes and Turnbull, Solicitors, Shrewsbury, 1701-1892, including deeds relating to the Lleuar estate (Winstanley portion), 1701-1776; deeds relating to Oerddwr Isaf and Cwmfedw Ddu, [c.1801]-1810; deeds and related papers of the Glangwna estate, 1749-1870; personal papers of Charlotte Frances Hunt, 1882-1892.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Lleuar estate included land in the parishes of Clynnog-fawr and Llanllyfni, Caernarfonshire. Oerddwr Isaf, Beddgelert and Cwmfedw Ddu, Penmorfa, Caernarfonshire were owned by Sir Watkin Williams Wynn (1772-1840), of Wynnstay, Ruabon, Denbighshire during the early 19th century. The Glangwna estate included land in the parishes of Llanrug and Llanbeblig, Caernarfonshire. Charlotte Frances Hunt (fl. 1882-1892) lived in Paddington, London.

Arranged into two groups: Group one consists of deeds of the Lleuar estate, Oerddwr Isaf and Cwmfedw, Glangwn estate and personal papers of C. F. Hunt; Group two consists of miscellaneous estate papers
