This collection of printed books was formed by Nora Tomlinson during her researches on Ford Madox Ford. These led to her PhD from the Open University in 1996 for her thesis The achievement of Ford Madox Ford as editor. It consists of first editions of many of Ford's works, a set of the Transatlantic review, modern editions and anthologies, and critical and biographical studies of Ford Madox Ford and his associates.
