Administrative / Biographical History
The Airdrie, Coatbridge & Wishaw Junction Railway was proposed in 1866 . A Parliamentary Bill was drawn up in order to gain an Act of Parliament in 1866 that would have allowed for the building of the Railway. It is unclear as to whether the Act was passed.
