Scope and Content

Sigismond Trafford of Tydd St. Mary's, Lincs., assigns to Thomas Edwards of Kettering, Northants. and John Kelsall of Wisbech his interest in certain lands in Wisbech and in Emneth, Norfolk, mortgaged to him by William Coldwell of Wisbech, deceased. William Coldwell had left the lands by will to his wife Mary Coldwell, sister of Thomas Edwards, who signs the indenture. A special trust is provided that the land in Wisbech is to be for the use of Richard Leake of Wisbech and Robert Setchell of Emneth, Norfolk; and that in Emneth for the use of Mary Coldwell. Witnessed by Edmund Bales, W. Larkin, Thomas Reade, Joseph Taylor, Robert Twells, and Thomas Lake.
