Ordnance survey maps of hospitals and hospital estates in York, 1909-1983, including Acomb Hospital, Bootham Park Hospital, City Hospital, Claypenny Hospital, Clifton Hospital, Deighton Grove Hospital, Fairfield Hospital, Fulford and Maternity Hospitals, Military Hospital, Moorlands Hospital, Naburn Hospital, Selby War Memorial Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, St Monica's Hospital, Tadcaster Hostel, The Retreat, Whixley Hospital, Yearsley Bridge Fever Hospital, and York County Hospital.

The maps have been arranged in date order.

Records are open to the public, subject to the overriding provisions of relevant legislation, including data protection laws.

Acquisition Information

The archive was deposited at the Borthwick Institute in 1995 as part of the transfer of York Health Archives to the Institute from their temporary home at Clifton Hospital.
