Colour portrait photograph of Queen Elizabeth II from 1992.

The Queen visited De Montfort University twice in 1993, once to open the Milton Keynes campus in March and then in December to officially open the Queens Building on the Leicester Campus. The photograph was most likely gifted by the Queen to commemorate one of these visits.
