Small sketches dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century all of Persian style. It is unclear if the 'Turkey Style' of the folder's title refers to the geographic location of the designs' origins or if it is referencing the dominant colour of these designs, as they all have a strong red ground reminiscent of the colour 'Turkey Red'. There are sketches by the designers Libert and Sevray, and one labled as being from James Templeton & Co. Some designs have been attached in multiples to one sheet of paper. In such cases, no dominant colour has been recorded.
