Letters patent (draft), Brandon, Suffolk

Grant by the Crown to Thomas Pleasaunce, William Pleasaunce, and Robert Pleasaunce of the warren of Brandon stocked with rabbits, which had been granted by Letters Patent dated 21 Feb. 1679/80 to Thomas Pleasaunce with the house and lands adjoining known as Nomans Land or John Myne Eames Land, being a part of the manor of Brandon, certain woods being reserved to the Crown, for a term of twenty-one years at a rent of twenty pounds fifteen shillings. The warren etc. are now granted for the term of the life of Thomas Pleasaunce, after his death to William Pleasaunce for the term of his life, after the death of the survivor of them to Robert Pleasaunce at the same rent. The lessees may plough the land. They are allowed estovers. The last portion, including the date, is missing.
