Scope and Content

A series of Roman Catholic meditations and devotional exercises on the life and death of Christ and the life and assumption of the Virgin, 94 folios: (fo. 1) short exhortation; (fo. 2) meditations on the life and death of Christ, the Annunciation to the Coronation of the Virgin; (fo. 56) meditations on the life of the Virgin, the Conception to the Coronation; (fo. 79) further meditations on the life of Christ; (fo. 87) Rosary. Most of the versos are blank. Inside the front cover is a defaced bookplate. Although the writing is not clear, the bookplate is similar to that in MS.Add.4365, in which the writing that can be distinguished reads '... Henry ... Esqre Executor.'
