Geographically the collection has a focus on South Manchester, particularly Moss Side, Levenshulme, Longsight and Hulme. There is also material covering Trafford, East and North Manchester and Salford as well as wider. Much material represents Manchester city as a whole. The collection mainly comprises of leaflets, newsletters, posters, pamphlets, some letters, reports and meeting papers for various community organisations and initiatives.
