Vera Pavlovna Marstrand (ne Omelianskaia) (1901-2000) lived in the Crimean naval port city of Sevastopol' (Sebastopol) before fleeing during the Russian civil war to Constantinople, where she met her future husband, a British naval officer. In later life she became an active amateur artist and sculptress
