Administrative / Biographical History
John Jones (fl. 1876-1899), of Minafon, North Road, Caernarfon, was a wine and spirit merchant. Following his death, he left his estate, which included the Black Lion Inn situated on Palace Street, Caernarfon, in trust for his children. Jones was married to Jane Margaret and had four daughters and three sons; William Samuel, Ernest Whitfield and Albert Victor.
