5 tune books from the collection of John Williams belonging to John Ellis of Montgomeryshire, Edward David of Dolanog, Montgomeryshire, Edward Davies, wheelwright and Edward Turner of Rhiwabon, Denbighshire. They contain tunes, psalms and anthems.

John Williams of Bangor was a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. No further biographical information was available at time of compilation of description other than he evidently collected tune books.
