Additional Information

Associated with the Wilkie volume is a much smaller volume of sketches purporting to be by Wilkie, but in reality, according to a letter written by Hamish Miles of Edinburgh and kept in this volume, not by Wilkie at all, but rather by an unknown artist who signs himself as "A.B."
