A collection of translations of modern English texts into classical languages, formed by Canon Henry Ellershaw.
The contents of the collection are almost entirely 19th and 20th century translations into Latin and Greek, but also include a little original composition in those languages by English authors of the same period. Both prose and verse compositions are included. The translated material is a mixture of anthologies and translations of longer literary works by writers such as Cowper, Keats and Tennyson.
