Scope and Content

This oral history collection consists of 87 interviews conducted by the East Midlands Oral History Archive and a team of volunteers for the Heritage Lottery funded project 'An Oral History of Post-War Leicester 1945-1962'.

Administrative / Biographical History

The project 'An Oral History of Post-War Leicester 1945-1962' ran for 17 months from January 2017 to in May 2018, capturing various aspects of the post-war history of Leicester. A project exhibition was launched on 23rd March 2018 at The Newarke Houses Museum.
